Check out these Beauties at the NEC Classic Car Show

Birmingham is the site for the 2016 Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show at the NEC, November 11 through 13. The theme is “Heroes and Heroines.” With all the shows and features, there’s a lot to see and do, but it’s the classic, retro, and antique cars that really steal the show. There are some incredible classics that will be hitting the auction block. Whether they are there for the show or up for sale, there are some real classic car beauties.

The Masonic Classic Vehicle Club is proudly displaying their 1952 AEC Regent, fresh off a North American tour where it travelled 12,000 miles. Also, making an appearance is the Bloodhound SSC, a single seater with claims of being able to blast through a mile in just 3.6 seconds. It is expected to make its mark in 2017by making a new land speed record. Up for sale is a Morris Mini Mk2. Proceeds will go to Prostate Cancer UK.

An 1899 Wolseley will be making an appearance, courtesy of the British Motor Museum. The museum is also providing the original preproduction 1948 Land Rover, Herbert Austin’s first 4-wheel vehicle, and the Mini Cooper S that was driven by Rauno Aaltonen in the 1967 Monte Carlo – and won.

There is something for everyone whether you love exotic classics or collector cars. If you can’t make it to Birmingham for the event, the show’s website is the next best thing. Take a look around, dream a little, and get inspired.
